Niagara Falls Taxi Safe Ride Home Program

Bar/Restaurant owners,

Together let's help make Niagara Falls, Ontario a safer place for our families during this upcoming New Years celebration! Join Niagara Falls Taxi on their 2nd year launching the Niagara Falls Taxi's Safe Ride Home program 2011. This free service provides participating bar,restaurant and hotel management the ability to call one of our taxis to drive a customer home safely if they feel that they are not in a condition to drive. In addition, Niagara Falls Taxi will also offer this service again to the local police department.

The goal of the Niagara Falls Taxi's Safe Ride Home program is to prevent alcohol related accidents and fatalities. This is not a free cab ride for all and is only used by bar and restaurant management that have customers that may need such service in order only to help prevent drinking and driving. The program begins on New Years Eve at 10 pm and ends at 6 am.

How it works:

Bar and Restaurant management must first register below. Shortly before New Years Eve you will be given information and a confidential phone number to call Niagara Falls Taxi's Safe Ride Home. The telephone number is only available to owners, managers and those employees designated to make the decision to call Niagara Falls Taxi Safe Ride Home for customers who need the free ride home.

Niagara Falls Taxi's Safe Ride Home will only take selected patrons to a residence, hotel/motel within the City of Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Bar and Restaurant management will secure patrons keys in an envelope, mark with the location of their car and it will be returned to the customer when reaching final destination.

Niagara Falls Taxi's Safe Ride Home will only respond to calls made by participating bar and restaurant management.
